My lovely wife has inspired me, she blogs every week about blessings of the week. I’m going to try and do that on a regular basis.
So here we are a day late but my blessings for the week.
No sleep this week just three hour naps twice a day if I was lucky some days just the three hours.
70-80 children running and screaming all around me.a work week that seemed to go on forever ( due to the lack of sleep).
How can those be blessings one might ask?
Well my loving wife is our church’s Vacation Bile school or VBS for short director. She has been running it for a few years and this year she needed a gym director. She asked me I said if you can’t find anyone else yes. When does it start I ask, we will have to be there by 8:30 you know I get off work at 4 am right? So that’s the 3 and half hours of sleep. Teaching all the children about God in there lives as we play cool games, having some parents and grand parents tell me how much the children love vbs…..priceless thats the blessing me being given the privilege to be the game director to all off the great children of vbs….I think I have found a permanent job for my vbs career.
The Job is just a blessing to have one I thank God for it every day in a time where many people are struggling to find a job I can only count mine as a blessing.
Then to top off the long week we headed off to the keys for vacation…….
