Wow time flies….
Missed April and may all together. Well happy June everyone, and happy birthday to my amazing beloved wife jamie.
So the other night while walking with the family we see a sign ” caution uneven footing ahead” and it reminds me so much of my life. As a Christian most people think your life will be all cookies and cream, but it’s not at all. I have never read that Jesus said this will be an easy life if you pick up your cross and follow me! As Annie once said its a hard knock life…. But the one thing we do have as believers are the promises of God. He is always with us ( psalm 23:3,John 14:18, 1Peter 5:7) always there to strengthen us ( psalm 73:26 , psalm 31:24) He will teach us and guide us ( psalm 119:105, psalm 37,40) and he gives us peace( john 14:27).
True peace, his peace not as the world gives it but True peace. So as we go through out bumps in the road and face our uneven footing, while journeying through this life of ours always remember. 1) or greatest problem ever was solved before we realized we had it. Our sins are covered by the blood of Jesus and we have been saved from eternal damnation through His grace. ( Ephesians 2:8)
2) we are not alone He will never leave us or forsake us.
3) although we may see these bumps as road blocks to our plans in life, IT is all part of Gods plan. He is in control!
Personally my life is far better off flowing His path then mine. I praise Him and thank him for all blessings in my life.
And remember as we trip and hit the stumbling blocks in our life. We should take these moments to maybe refocus our lives to what’s important. What see we worshiping? Because we where created to worship something, God,money,drugs,sex thrills? Keep your focus on God and his paths he has for you after if God can create the heavens and earth I am pretty sure he can put me in the right direction for life.
