
The hidden enemy!
No it’s not the scale all by itself. But I do feel it’s a part of it. I think for the most part any one who has struggled with a diet of this or that, lose the weight, then low and behold they find it again sneaking right around the corner and just like the weight loss it creeps back into your life slowly. A pound at a time. Lol….
But on serious note how many of us start working toward healthy living change, because we all know diets fail, plain and simple. Then we step on that dreaded beast, it usually takes all the bad words we say to it and still breaks our dreams of a lower scale number. You work out hard all week and tried eating healthy and In Your mind your like “I lost a lot this week” 😄. Only to see, bang, a number that shows little or no loss or maybe, a gain…. And your’re like “all this hard work and nothing?!!”
Forget this its to hard! You think.
You know what, you are right, it is hard! But before you throw the scale out the window! Remember this, when our bodies work out and we work out muscles, they stretch and tear in order to grow and repair, they retain water to help them heal did you know that? So don’t hate the scale it is still our friend. Rather, rely on how your cloths fit and that’s why it is so important to take measurements, before you begin your journey. Because they don’t lie. Please don’t be discouraged, remember that this is a journey, to a newer healthier you. Just keeping making healthier choices and stay active.
Now I must say stay strong and keep moving forward.
