Weekend has come and gone. With an amazing message from the pulpit today. That has tide into the blog message i had been thinking about for today anyway….Gods timing!
Whats the next step?
Have you hit a plato in your life,job,work-out,marriage, fatherhood or motherhood? Have they all seem to have gone into maintenance mode? Don’t feel bad if they have we all hit that spot in our lives. Where you hit a blaaaa spot and you don’t have the effort to put into things any more. You just get up and press on through your day looking, hoping that something will kick start your life back into action……
The next steps….
Transformation….we need to go from our part-time commitment to the things in our lives to a full time committed individual. To put our best foot forward and invest the time and commitment into what we want to be…… to you want to be a great dad, husband, employee act….then it takes work. Just like professional athletes who spend countless hours training and investing in there skill. We excel at what we invest in, You want to be a better husband? – invest in your wife, do you treat her with the same love and compassion that you did when you first courted her? If you spend more time with your buddies and watching tv or going to the bar or even working then you do with your wife and family. You will never grow that relationship with them because you are proving whats more important to you. We are all slaves to something money, alcohol, cigarets, work, God , our children, the question is what order do you put them in.
I ask you to take the time at the beginning of the week to make a plan. A plan for going forward in your journey to a better you. The past is the past nothing you can say or do will change it. The only thing that will change is what you choose to do from today forward! STOP complaining ,griping, grumbling or disputing the problems in your life.
” Do all things without grumbling or disputing.” Philippians 2:14
Thats all things not use the fun things…All even the bad things. “Rejoice always,Pray without ceasing, give thanks in ALL circumstances” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
My plan this week is to get back into the saddle of daily workouts I have joined a challenge group that starts tomorrow. Along with that starting a two week training course and trying to fit in visiting family, help in moving our church to its new location and fitting in a few drs appointments along the way. Oh yeah and work…lol. So now i have my plan set out before me on my calendar for the week, month and next 90 days for somethings. What now?
Rejoice always,Pray without ceasing and give thanks in all circumstances, why because God is in control of all and if He can create the universe and all in it. then He can get me through the this life.
God bless my friends and Stay strong in the faith.
In His service
Jon
and tis is whats starts for me tomorrow…..
