Husbands and fathers this is for us…

You know that moment when you are hanging with you Bro’s and your all complaining about no Me time.(yes ladies we all do this lol) . I am with you all its a struggle you sit down after a long days work and you want to unwind, wether you want to zone and play video games, read, watch a movie or game. Then just then at that moment you are starting to get into that ( insert game/book/tv/exact here) you hear…..

DAD the bla bla blah isn’t working, dad the toilet is clogged, dad i need….

or Hey huney can you….

then Boom that little hulk inside of you starts to rage….What about Me……..

at this moment you have a few options you can find that selfish zone and blow up at everyone with attitude and malice towards whoever….( trust me voice of experience this does NOT I repeat NOT go over very well) .

or you can remember that as the Headship of your family it is our job as husbands and fathers to but others before our need of me time…

so dad the laundry machine is flashing a code again..ok sweety lets go take a look at it. Dad the toilet is clogged ok let me fix that…

hunny can you help me do….sure hun what ever you need. A servents heart can be the most rewarding blessing we can have in our lives. And added perk you can come off as a hero to your family.

its not easy but Jesus never said following Him would be. But it is rewarding and after all if you want to play a game or read a book watch tv….. you can always do that when everyone is in bed. Because in the end of the day your rewards are the love of your children that see there value in your eyes and of your wife who knows she comes before your selfishness. Now i do not profess to be a saint at this i myself still struggle with this, but praise God not as often as i have in the past, and Lord willing less in the future

make it happen everyday. It will become easier. Walk with Him and He will guide you
