Random fact that most people might not know. The two creators Of Superman Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster began creating him in 1933 and in1938 they sold the rights to Superman to detective comics for a total of $130.00 🤭…..they continues to work for Dc for a time and then parted ways working other jobs. After falling on hard times they struggled through life and in 1975 when first Superman movie was starting , they made note of how little money they had from Superman and how they where struggling and Wb decided to give them yearly stipend. They received payments of $20,000 a year latter going up to $30,000 for the rest of there lives ….that’s all….kind of sad

So here we are 80 years later and multiple movies, comics and tv shows. Superman if more popular then ever. Dc flagship superhero for 80 years multiple comics, tv shows and movies. While I truly like Michael B Jordon and his acting in Fahrenheit 451, Creed, Black panther, even was ok in fantastic four. Even that was tough because he was Johnny storm a white character, they did make him Sues brother and that i liked, having a blended family myself but can’t see him playing Superman, why you ask?j

Well first off Superman is a white character, I don’t feel you can just become politically correct and change a character after 80 years because we want more ethnic diversity in the roles of super hero’s. We need to strengthen the hero’s we have and created Characters not just change them because we feel like it. I myself am a huge Spider-Man fan and when they wanted to make a new Spider-Man they did Miles Morales an amazing character with depth that my son can look up too. I loved that they just didn’t say hay let’s make peter Parker black.

Why can’t we develop another black superhero is it that hard? Another man who survived the exploding Krypton and made it to earth. They had John Henry aka Steel way back in the 90’s during the death of Superman story line what happened to him? I would love to see more diversity in the world of superhero in both marvel and dc, just don’t all of a sudden swap genders , races and sexual preferences on us because you feel you need to show more diversity. I personally don’t feel that shows anyone respect, how much though did you put into the character to make him different.

So I beg you for the world sake please take the time to develop characters for everyone, because we all need a superhero to look up too, don’t just take a character and change him because it’s easy. I would love to show all my children that look here is a great superhero with a great story who looks like you. And if they have Michael B Jordon eventually play Superman I worry that it will become more of a race issue rather then the character. We do live in a fallen world where racism still is being combated daily unfortunately I wish it was different praying and working that it does become better. If Marvel can have a story line where they have a young black boy become Spider-Man Miles not Peter then why can’t the creators at Dc come up with some ethnic diversity in there superhero. Am I for a black Superman , sure as long as his name is not Clark Kent. As stated before a fellow kryptonian who makes it to earth and become another Superman who isn’t Clark Kent awesome why not? Supermen?
