Monday. Finished traveling from Mississippi to New Orleans. Stopped at the New Orleans travel stop and met the most friendliest ladies. So helpful with info and directions. Drove to our camping spot Segnette State Park.

What an amazing star park. They have playground and showers free laundry and walking paths. Now hooked up to water and electric I can see why people love camping in campers lol…. with no radio and WiFi that’s slower than molasses in February in Vermont ….. we had a nice night of settling in and playing rummy together are outside. Was really nice ….with a walk down the levies and look at the air boats goo down the river and saw the biggest spider Eva….

So far I am pretty sure no one has journaled about how hey wish they were the dog from Vacation on the back of the car lol….. it’s a learning curve being stuck in the camper but would not want to do this with anyone else
