The DuPontes take on the French Quarter …

our day started out with a devotion.

Just some exerts from it. It highlighted that even in bad days you can find joy if you look for it ….

Perfect because it was raining today lol…

so after breakfast we headed out. First stop store for some umbrellas then to cross the mighty Mississippi ….

After landing in the French quarter we headed out down through Jackson Sq and the onto Decatur st do find Cafe Beignet …. yummmmm and a free coffee 😊. After some resting and eating 😊. Then a quick stroll over to Cafe Du Monde for some chicory coffee and sadly no more beignets ( for today see blog tomorrow )We moved on all down the st to the French Market to try some Alligator yummmm with some creole mustard dip. Followed up with a stroll down Bourbon st … if you have never been think Duval st in Kew West great for adults who like to bar hop. But not for us. Lol… We made a quick stop for lunch at Cornet restaurant.. the owners gave Louis Armstrong his first horn … tried a local brew .. was ok if your like light beer. Had some New Orleans sample platers All fantastic highly recommend this place if your here. After a late luck we did some more sight seeing and then back to the fairy for our return over the night Mississippi and back to the camp for a night of Disney Family feud
