Well for the last few weeks my wife has been asking me nicely to look at a few things around the house. So last Wensday I decided to get a jump on them, I cleaned the fish tank and then she had asked me to take a look at the washing machine, we have been having some codes come up in it with a draining issue for the past couple of months. After disabling the whole back side and tracing the drain hose ( only about 30 min) I found that I had to put it back together and then go at it from the front. As they always said in GI joe knowing is half the battle…… Now that the front was off i found the drain trap and then found out why it had a hard time training I removed from the trap….
1 Skelton key, 1 sock????, 1 popsicle stick, 1 straw, 1 toy dinosaur leg, about 37 cents in a mixed bag of pennies, nickels and a dime ,and the grand champion of the drain clog was…..drum roll please……47 silly bands …yes silly bands, apparently when they found out that they where a dying fad they gathered together and try to take my washer with them. Silly rubber bands go and die out on your own. With the washer fixed and draining like new i now felt like the man of the house I have fixed another broken appliance, I earned my man card for the month, so now what? Celebrate by going to Disney or some other manly thing like go and build something? No way it’s time to make some cookies….
So to the kitchen with little miss. Sparkles it is to bake some cookies using a recipe from my fringe at scooping it up ( see the blogs I follow). I changed a few things to make them gluten free and they where so good. Social worker cookies I think they where called. So I was mixing them up and then I found I killed my wife’s Kitchen Aid… Yep that’s right after fixing one thing I killed the another. To keep my man card I decided I need to take it apart and fix it….now how hard could that be?
Well it was not as bad as I though with a little help from my father in law We found out that it had stripped a gear. 10 min on line and it is being shipped and should arrive this week then we will be mixing again. So all in a days work…
